Tours

Snowmobiling Through Forests and Mountains
In northern Sweden, snowmobiles are the most popular way to explore the stunning winter landscape. We’ll start from Camp Ripan, suit up in warm clothing, and head toward lower mountain regions, crossing frozen lakes and journeying deep into the wild forest. The landscape is covered in thick, pristine snow, and throughout the tour, you’ll be able to savor breathtaking views of the winter wilderness. Our route takes us up to Ednavaara Mountain, nestled about an hour from Camp Ripan. There, we’ll reach the summit, take in the panoramic views, and enjoy the experience of traversing Europe’s last wild frontier. During the journey, we’ll stop in the wilderness for a light snack featuring traditional flavors from Lapland.
After the break, we’ll restart the snowmobiles and follow a route through marshy areas, where we hope to catch a glimpse of moose.
Note: Each snowmobile seats two people, and the driver must have a valid driver’s license.
Icehotel and Jukkasjärvi Village
A local guide will meet you and take you by minibus to the charming village of Jukkasjärvi. At the famous Icehotel, you’ll have time to explore the renowned ice art gallery on your own. Your guide will also accompany you to the oldest part of Jukkasjärvi, sharing insights about the Kiruna area and the Sami people. You’ll visit the old church, often called the "Sami Church," with its oldest sections dating back to 1607, and meet reindeer at Nutti Sami Siida, the Sami museum.
Dog Sledding Tour
This top-rated TripAdvisor experience offers an enchanting dog sledding adventure through Lapland’s magical winter scenery. The landscapes feel straight out of a fairytale, with cold air filled with the warm breath of huskies running along forest trails, far from other tourists. Midway, we’ll pause in our lávvu, a traditional Sami tipi, where you can warm up by the fire, holding a steaming cup of coffee or hot chocolate paired with homemade apple cake. You might even spot reindeer or moose during your journey!
This is a perfect tour for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. You’ll be seated in sleds driven by a professional guide, so you can relax and enjoy the serene time in nature with the friendly huskies.
